Finca Maroma - Holiday Homes near Competa

The private holiday retreat of Finca Maroma is ideal for anyone who loves nature, peace and relaxation but also wants to experience some of the excitement of the vibrant Andalusian lifestyle.




Finca Maroma is set in a quiet area, surrounded by exotic fruit trees (oranges, avocadoes, olives, cumquats...) and terraced vineyards. It has wonderful, panoramic views across a wide green valley surrounded by mountains and villages, up to the impressive peak of Maroma (2060 metres, 6757 feet) and south down to the Mediterranean Sea. The white village of Cómpeta is only a 10-minute walk away.

We have two houses and one apartment available for rent:

Casa La Viña (100 sq m) - a rustic two-storey house with 2-3 bedrooms, roof terrace, two bathrooms, central heating and Internet connection. For four to six people.

Casa Azahara (65 sq m) - comfortable house in Spanish finca style with one bedroom, one bathroom, two covered arcades and central heating. For two to four people.

Apartment Buena Vista - an apartment in Moorish style with one bedroom, one bathroom, roofed terrace with breathtaking view, gas heating and Internet connection. For two to three people.

Apart from the pool, spacious sun terraces and barbecue, which are shared by all three houses, each house has its own space with private terraces. We aim to provide our guests with a private, relaxed, Andalusian setting for their precious holiday weeks, away from mass tourism.

Competa is a wonderful place to spend your holidays as there are tons of activities for you to enjoy. Settled just below the Sierra Almijara, this quaint mountainside village feature a host of accommodations for holidaymakers and tourists from fincas, casas, townhouses and apartments typical of the romantic villas in the Costa del Sol. Whether you are interested in mountain walks, horseriding, skiing, a round of golf or you simply want to enjoy the various festivals and flamenco music and dancing, Competa has it all and more.
