San Juan de Capistrano built in 1985 and has evolved over the years into one of the most attractive residential areas on the Eastern Costa del Sol.
The system consists of villas, apartments and holiday homes, which were positioned and built in "pueblo" style so that they benefit from views of Nerja and the Mediterranean Sea.
The holiday homes are set in a landscape with many tropical plants and flowers, which is mantained by various gardeners in good condition.
The community has an efficient and effective surveillance, who has a keen eye on the environment.
The pool is laid out like a large lake with Rock Island and small waterfalls and surrounded with lawn as sunbathing area, with stunning views of Nerja and the Mediterranean Sea. There is also a children's pool for the little. The pools are open from Easter to end of October. In the summer, the pool area closes at 21:00 h, the pool bars and restaurants are open until midnight.
Also a grocery store is on-site, offering a wide range of products, from food to Flip-Flops. The supermarket is open from March to November.
A regular bus service runs year-round from San Juan to Nerja.
